Our livelihood depends on clear, clean waters and the trout that those ecosystems support. We are passionate about cold water fisheries conservation. We love trout, and we love the Yellowstone River. We do all we can to protect and conserve those resources, from volunteering for the annual Yellowstone River cleanup (rain, shine, or snow) to hosting a boot-cleaning station to prevent the spread of invasive aquatic species. Sweetwater Fly Shop is a business member of Trout Unlimited and Dan serves on the board of the Joe Brooks chapter of TU.
We are also involved members of the vibrant community of Livingston, Montana. We believe in giving back to the community that supports us, whether that be by sponsoring a youth soccer team or doing what we can to thank those in the community who have served our nation with courage and conviction. Sweetwater Fly Shop, in conjunction with the Livingston Elks Club, hosts an annual fishing float for local veterans.
