5 years ago I decided to learn to fly fish at the ripe age of 50! I found The women’s fly fishing school on line and flew from Texas to Montana to take the school. I was lucky enough to have Kara Tripp as our instructor. What a treat! She is not only an amazing angler but has a way of teaching that made it all make sense! She is so passionate and loves passing along her years of knowledge. I learned more in those 3 days than I have learned from numerous guided trips in the 5 years since then. I met so many amazing women I continue to fish with as result of the fly fishing school. I am independent on the water and enjoy fly fishing every chance I get thanks to Kara! If you ever get the chance to take her course, don’t miss it! ~Terry Aulds, Dallas Texas
I’ve fished with Kara Tripp several times, each one a new and wonderful fly fishing adventure, growing my love for the fish, the flies and the water. Kara took the time to teach me and help me grow as a fly fisherman. She’s not only improved my cast, but taught me why and when to use different flies, the art of fighting a big fish and how to be a better conservationist. Kara through her tips and smiles inspired me to grow my passion for the sport of fly fishing. ~Craig Brinkmann, Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin
