Our shop is fully stocked with hundreds of items to make your fishing trip stress-free, successful, and memorable.  We have all the supplies you need to get outfitted for fly fishing in Montana and abroad.  And we may just have the best fly selection in the state.  Sweetwater's flies are the culmination of a hundred years of Montana fly fishing research, patterns designed by the west’s great tiers with an additional mix of proven flies from specialists around the world. Perhaps our finest attribute is our staff—the friendliest and most knowledgeable in the region.

We may not be the largest store in the fly fishing world. We pride ourselves in hand-selecting the finest brands and products that will enhance your fly fishing experience. If we don’t have it, chances are you don’t need it. Our fly selection is not the biggest, but it is the best in the area. Our flies have been chosen by our expert staff and guides to help you maximize your success on the Yellowstone River, the Paradise Valley spring creeks, and around the world. Count on us to outfit you for your next fly fishing adventure!

We carry fly rods by Winston, Scott, Echo, and Redington, and Livingston Fly Rods. Our reels are from Ross, Nautilus, Lamson, Abel, and Redington. We stock Simms and Patagonia waders and wading boots. Our vests and packs come from Simms, Fishpond, Patagonia, and Umpqua. We have clothing from Simms, Patagonia, Strip ‘n Flywear, and Mojo, among others.
