We’ve gotten a couple of relatively credible reports of salmonflies coming off on the Yellowstone River today, up in the Paradise Valley! Sounds like it’s starting. You’ll want to fish this weekend (or even this evening). It’s a free fishing weekend, so you can even drag along your licenseless friend or family member tomorrow or Sunday. We’ve got a bunch of juicy salmonfly dries here at Sweetwater Fly Shop, so stop in on your way to the river and grab a handful.
