We’ve got two great free events coming up a week from Saturday (June 25). Come to one; come to both. Bring the family, everyone’s welcome.
First, we’ll be holding a free beginner’s casting clinic from 4:00-6:00. It’s open to anyone who wants to learn to cast a fly rod. Our patient and expert instructor will go over the basics of fly casting, then you’ll have plenty of time to practice what you’ve learned. It’s a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to get started in our great sport. Bring your own rod and reel or borrow ours. And the price is right!
After the clinic, stay for the free barbecue (5:30-7:30), or just come later for the food and good company. The grill behind the shop will be fired up and the burgers, brats, beer (and soft drinks) will be plentiful. Chat about fishing with a bunch of like-minded folks (is there anything else to talk about?). Hope to see you here on Saturday.
If you’re planning on coming to the casting clinic, please shoot us an email, just so we have some idea of how many folks to expect. But if you forget, just show up at 4:00, ready to learn.
