You’ve undoubtedly already read about the Rude Trude and about our “Rudie Can’t Fail” photo contest in our previous Fly Zone posts. Perhaps you’ve even picked up your FREE DOZEN FLIES from us here at Sweetwater Fly Shop (if you haven’t yet, you’d better come in to the shop and get yours soon, because they’ll be going fast and you’ll want to have a full month to fish the Rudies and get your best picture of a fish you’ve caught on one).
By now, you’re surely asking yourself, “What great prize will I win if I submit the best photo of a fish caught on a Rude Trude?” Until today, we’ve been holding that information a secret (if only because we hadn’t decided yet what the sweet grand prize would be). Well, wonder no longer; it’s time for the big reveal!
The Grand Prize of our “Rudie Can’t Fail” photo contest will be a brand new Fishpond Cerveza Sidekick chest pack!
There, now you know. Get your free flies right away and start fishing them, catching fish, and taking photos. You won’t want to miss out on the opportunity to take home this high quality and super useful fishing pack from Fishpond. The pack is perfectly sized to hold a couple of fly boxes for an evening’s fly fishing after work, along with your essential tools. But what really sets it apart is the built in molded beverage holder, perfect for carrying a can of your favorite cold drink while you fish. No worries about spilling your beer while you’re reeling in that big trout!
The picture shows the Cerveza Sidekick loaded up with a bunch of tools. Sorry, you don’t get those. But we will throw in an ice-cold PBR (or Coke, if you’re not yet of age), if only we can keep one in our cooler long enough without drinking it ourselves. How’s that for a sweet deal?
So quit hesitating and start fishing the Rude Trude (royal or lime, it’s your choice). Someone’s going to get a great picture of a big fish and take home the ultra-useful chest pack and the cold brew, not to mention the glory and fame. It might as well be you!
Here’s a bit of “red hot” Rude Trude action from my day of Fishing on the Yellowstone River yesterday to wet your appetite! Don’t worry, it won’t take you long to watch.
